Wabash Iron & Metal Co., Inc. is a family owned and operated business specializing in scrap metal recycling.  We have been proudly serving Kansas City, Missouri and its surrounding areas for over 60 years, buying iron and metal scraps from contractors, manufacturers, and other businesses as well as homeowners.

12th Street Recycling, Inc. was aquired by Wabash Iron & Metal Co., Inc. in 1990 in order to expand our scrap metal recycling operations.  For the last 20 years, 12th Street Recycling, Inc. has provided another location where our customers can drop off their scrap metal.  Today, 12th Street Recycling, Inc. is our primary location for purchasing iron & steel materials as well as scrap cars.  For more information regarding the materials that are purchased at each location, please see our Services page.
